The common thread will always be what is the most specific trait of Beauty Treats: 100% natural ingredients, Keto, Paleo, Non-Gmo and Soy-free. 

Collagen is the most abundant protein in our body. It’s one of the major building blocks of bones, skin, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Because it makes up so many critical parts of our bodies, collagen is not only beneficial but essential to maintaining good health. With ageing, starting from 25 years old onwards, our natural collagen production starts decreasing, hence the importance of having a daily collagen supplement to fight the natural ageing of skin, hair, nails and joints, and maintain a younger body from the inside out. 

By increasing your collagen levels, you can help your skin cells keep renewing and repairing normally which may assist with firmer skin, increased smoothness, improved skin elasticity and reduced skin moisture (dryness) loss.
Being collagen an abundant protein, with 28 types having been identified to date, types I, II, III, IV, and V are the most common in the human body. Types I and III present together in the organs and skin, while type II is typically found in joints and cartilage. 

Each cookie has slightly above 4gr of collagen (4,200mg each). The amount makes it ideal to have from 1 to 3 cookies a day, depending on your daily needs and energy consumption.  

The best collagen to take is Hydrolyzed Collagen as it's absorbed more readily than other types. There is no official indication about the ideal daily required amount, but studies show that taking 2.5–15 grams of hydrolyzed collagen peptides each day may be safe and effective. A smaller daily dose of 2.5 grams up to 5 grams can benefit joint pain, skin health, and hydration. Increasing this dose to above 10 grams of these peptides a day have has shown the potential to improve bone density and support muscle mass as well as body composition. 

Taking too much collagen (like any other proteins) may cause you to feel side effects like indigestion or intestinal discomfort, but it’s not likely to harm you beyond that. Collagen is a safe and nontoxic daily supplement that usually doesn’t cause adverse effects. 

Clinical studies have shown using Hydrolysed Collagen Peptides by itself has a significant beneficial moisturizing effect on the skin after 56 days. Results may be seen earlier already after the second/third week of consistent use.

Beauty Treats shelf life is clinically tested and approved to be 90 days minimum. Please consider that the cookies are packed only with natural ingredients, so there is no chemicals nor preservatives to lengthen their natural duration, which is enabled thanks to the packaging and the absence of eggs, milk and fruits. However, extreme heat or humidity may create mold before their expiry date, due to the lack of preservatives.
Our Beauty Treats are stored in our temperature controlled kitchen. Once your order leaves our facility, we no longer control the temperature and handling in transit. We cannot take responsibility for your items if you choose to make your purchase in warmer weather. Not at all! Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight and below 25 degrees. Handbags, kitchen cupboards, work desks & wardrobes are all fine! Best is to store them in their own box until you take the single cookie out in your bag for your daily errands.
